Science Café Noir Festival 2027
The third edition of Science Café Noir focuses on the dark and unexpected sides of science and culture. From crime in the Middle Ages to the history of pornography: topics you probably don't hear about every day.
The entire Burgerweeshuis will be dedicated to science and curiosity this evening. Various rooms will host lectures, philosophical discussions, and a science and art pub quiz. There will also be a unique tasting activity in the dark, as well as the chance to test how good you are at failing.
In between, there will be poetry and music from DJ duo A Family Affair. And if the sky is clear, a telescope will be set up outside to view the moon and stars.
The program offers plenty of room to walk around, join a session, discover something new, or simply enjoy the evening with a drink. More info about the program can be found here.
