Recruitment for the 2027 Citizen Grant has started!
The Burger Beurs helps boost the careers of promising artists from Overijssel.
Musical acts from various genres get a year of access to the resources, knowledge, and network of Burgerweeshuis, plus a budget to achieve their goals.
Burgerweeshuis is committed to investing in young talent, as it directly contributes to a vibrant musical climate in both the city and the province. This program is designed for emerging artists from Overijssel across a wide range of genres. Together with our talent developer, selected artists work on long-term planning and concrete goals to take the next step in their careers.
Previous participants include Simcha, Nomads Radio, Pluk Dan, FAMKE, Boogie Monster, Babs, Pjotr, Droom Dit, Wildman, Vera Bon, Reality Spill, and Jongeman.
