What and how will you learn?
You will learn these things in practice. The Next Gen track runs concurrently with one of our talent routes. You will attend a workshop and shadow us on Tuesday evenings during the talent route.
Next, you will develop a lesson module that you can test out during one of our talent routes. This is how you build experience as you go.
What can you do with it?
After completing this course, you will be eligible to work as an assistant coach for Burgerweeshuis. You will be paid between €20 and €35 per hour for this, depending on your age and experience.
With this didactic foundation, you will also be qualified to provide courses in other settings, such as at schools or with other cultural partners.
The course consists of:
- 1 workshop on Didactics and Group Processes in the week prior to the start of the route
- Shadowing the talent route & Interim assignments that you carry out yourself within the Talent Route itself
- 1 supervised practical session
- Shadowing Shout out, Talenthouse, or other workshops organized by Burgerweeshuis
