Badminton - 'Dare I Say'
KNMI WARNS: Hard band from the East is raging through the alt-rock scene, code orange at least!
What once started as a light breeze from frontman Luca de la Haye's attic has now grown into a thunderstorm that blows you off your bar stool. The four-piece formation — Luca, Stein, Chiquinho and Lotte — found each other through side jobs, bars and a healthy love for chaos. Together, they forge songs that sound like a night where you threw in just a little too much beer: loud, honest and two-sided.
Badminton writes about everything that makes adolescent life so complicated: finding and losing love, doubt, growing up against will and thanks. Pure therapy in the shape of a mosh pit.
In short: Badminton is a musical storm that you voluntarily stay in, even if it's just because it pounds so well.
After the release of Badminton's first EP 'Ride the Wave' (2025), the 4 mourners continue to rock with 'Dare I Say' (2026). A work that you grasped greedily and won't let go. With 7 tracks that show the contrast of adolescence, they take you to manic peaks and 'hangover' valleys.
In contrast to the first record made entirely by frontman Luca de la Haye, Badminton now brings its new sound; collective, authentic and damn delicious!

Nomads Radio is a three-piece whirlwind of surf and garage punk, anchored in poppy hooks and lyrics that balance between personal fears and everyday fears
absurdities. Think of Ty Segall's rough, melodic songs and Osees' indomitable energy.
