After a seven-year hiatus, Mister and Mississippi are returning to the stage.
In 2018, they went their separate ways. Not because they wanted to, but because it was necessary. They needed space to grow—as musicians and as people.
Now, the band is back. They never truly let go of the music or each other, and what they missed most were the intimate shows: being in a room with their audience, where every note counts, every silence speaks, and every glance carries meaning.
With a new tour, Mister and Mississippi are visiting a series of special and personal venues. These halls have been carefully chosen to match the band and their music: intimate, personal, and vulnerable.
During this tour, the band will play not only songs from their three albums—the tracks that shaped them—but also new work they have been writing in silence over the past few years. Songs that are finally seeing the light of day and are ready to be heard.
Since forming in 2011, Mister and Mississippi have built a loyal fanbase at home and abroad with their blend of indie, folk, and pop. Their three albums—Mister and Mississippi (2013), We Only Part to Meet Again (2015), and Mirage (2017)—received widespread acclaim and resonated with a broad audience. From small clubs to major concert halls and festivals, their music found a home everywhere.
Along the way, they received an Edison award and several 3FM Awards, but above all, the connection with the audience that embraced them from the start remained the most important thing. After seven years of silence, this tour feels like a new chapter—a return that proves what we always knew: we only part to meet again.
