Roosbeef
Roosbeef is the band centered around singer and writer Roos Rebergen. Since their breakthrough, the group has grown into one of the most idiosyncratic voices in Dutch-language music. Rebergen is considered one of the most influential songwriters of her generation. Her songs are simultaneously playful, disruptive, moving, and relatable.
With five albums, Roosbeef has built a loyal following in the Netherlands and Belgium, earning praise from the press, peers, and listeners alike.
In 2024, Roos released an album featuring classical arrangements of her songs in collaboration with the string quartet SunSunSun Orchestra. The record and the subsequent sold-out concerts received rave reviews. Meanwhile, she was working on new material. That process was overshadowed by the passing of bandmate and friend Tom Pintens and a period during which Rebergen stepped back to focus on her mental health.
With 'Binnensmonds' and 'De Leugen', Roosbeef announces a sixth studio album. And so, Roosbeef continues to reinvent itself without ever losing its unique voice.
