StonerGrungeFest 2027

After two successful editions in Utrecht, this gritty guitar festival is hitting the road in 2027. Get ready for a heavy-hitting night featuring three killer bands.

‍

Baardvader

‍
Three men, one wall of fuzz. The trio from The Hague, Baardvader, blends the best elements of '70s hard rock, grunge, and stoner. Armed with three powerhouse records (including the critically acclaimed album When The Stars Arrive) and heaps of European touring experience, this trio steamrolls across the stage.

‍

They have already shared the stage with international heavyweights like Truckfighters and Eyehategod, so expect a well-oiled rock machine of the highest caliber.

‍

22AD

‍
Dark, melodic, and unflinchingly heavy. 22AD flawlessly brings the raw energy of the 90s into the present. Their sound is a powerful tribute to the vocal harmonies of Alice in Chains and the layered textures of Soundgarden, woven together with the hypnotic atmosphere of Deftones and Nine Inch Nails.

‍

The band has already shared the stage with big names like Elephant Tree and The Devil and the Almighty Blues.

Low guitar tunings, a pounding rhythm section, and synth-heavy sound design are guaranteed to take you on an intense live trip.

‍

‍

Sustain

‍
This Belgian quartet crafts songs with a blend of bitter and sour, where daring and power are the main ingredients. These four purveyors of misery deliver bitter rock and grunge music with a venomous edge. Whether you drown in the deluge or rise above the crowd, both are encouraged while consuming SUSTAIN.

‍

Last year they successfully released their debut album, and if you love an intense live show, rumbling bass grooves, and rock-solid, catchy choruses, you absolutely cannot miss this band.
