Noordenberg Jazz is an intimate jazz festival held across four venues in the Noordenbergkwartier district of Deventer.
On Saturday, visitors with a festival pass can move between the four locations; on Friday and Sunday, there is a fringe program for which tickets can be purchased at the venues themselves.
The participating venues are De Tijdberg (Nieuwstraat), Burgerweeshuis Café (Bagijnenstraat), de Fermerie (Muggenplein), and Theater Fazant (Smedenstraat).
Burgercafé Program: Frank & Cyril
After a short period of reflection, Frank Montis (Hammond organ/vocals) and Deventer-born Cyril Directie (drums/vocals) have decided to pick up right where they left off.
Both musicians are, of course, known for the phenomenal organ trio Montis Goudsmit & Directie, with which they tore up every venue between Stadskanaal and Heerlen, and every festival from Zwarte Cross to North Sea Jazz.
Experience a unique evening with this duo, as you won't often see these two top musicians performing in this format.
In between, we can groove to the cool records spun by Dikke Thomas.
