John Coffey
John Coffey is back! And how! Rawer, sharper, and still built on pure energy.
John Coffey is one of the most energetic and uncompromising bands in the Dutch alternative scene.
With their mix of punk and rock ’n’ roll, delivered by David Achter de Molen, Alfred and Richard van Luttikhuizen, Christoffer van Teijlingen, and Carsten Brunsveld, their shows are known as intense, all-consuming releases where band and audience become one.
Until their sudden hiatus in 2016, the band built a strong international live reputation, with performances from Russia to the US and across Europe. After a period of silence and reorientation, John Coffey returned in 2023: louder, sharper, and more urgent than ever.
With new material, sold-out shows, and their own Coffey Fest, the band proves that their energy hasn't lost any of its power. Still just as fierce, engaged, and unpredictable, John Coffey is once again firing on all cylinders.
Expect loud.
support: Bot Mes
Zwolle-based Bot Mes plays metalcore/hardcore punk. Dutch lyrics, sometimes nonsense, sometimes political, but always with a wink and female vocals you won't understand anyway.
Explosive live show guaranteed!
