John Coffey

John Coffey is one of the most energetic and uncompromising bands from the Dutch alternative scene.

With their mix of punk and rock 'n' roll, delivered by David Achter de Molen, Alfred and Richard van Luttikhuizen, Christoffer van Teijlingen, and Carsten Brunsveld, their shows are known as intense, all-consuming releases where band and audience completely merge.

Until their sudden hiatus in 2016, the band built a strong international live reputation, with performances from Russia to the US and throughout Europe. After a period of silence and reorientation, John Coffey returned in 2023: louder, sharper, and more urgent than ever.

With new material, sold-out shows, and their own Coffey Fest, the band proves that their energy has lost none of its power. Still as fierce, engaged, and unpredictable, John Coffey is once again sharply poised.
