UUHAI from Mongolia combines authentic throat singing with a powerful mix of traditional Mongolian instruments and heavy metal riffs.

Following their successful breakthrough at the start of 2026, the folk metal collective UUHAI will be touring extensively across Europe this spring in support of their debut album, “Human Herds” (Napalm Records).

‍

Deep throat singing, driving rhythms, traditional instruments, and heavy guitars form the foundation of their music. Drawing inspiration from Mongolia’s rich history and spiritual traditions, they translate this into energetic, fiery, and soulful folk metal songs on their debut album, creating a sound entirely their own.

‍

Live, they know how to whip their fans into a frenzy with traditional chants, delivering a spectacular show in traditional Mongolian attire.

‍

Manticora

Denmark’s Manticora has been active since 1997 and has 10 studio albums to their name. The band emerged from thrash but embraced European power metal for Manticora, citing bands like Blind Guardian or Helloween as influences. While there is still room for thrash within their sound, the band does not shy away from epic elements either.

‍

Blossom Cult

Germany’s Blossom Cult debuts in 2026 with the album “Home.” On it, you hear a band playing progressive metal that is both hard-hitting and more restrained. To name a few parallels, think of bands like Pain of Salvation or Threshold.

‍

Only Human

The Danish band Only Human has been active since 2023 and is making waves with their debut, “Planned Obsolescence.” The concept album is about a violent takeover by technology—quite topical, then. Their label, Season of Mist, describes it aptly: “existential prog metal for a dystopian future.” Essential listening for fans of Tesseract or Spiritbox.
