Janne Schra
Janne Schra is a vibrant, multidisciplinary artist from Amsterdam who effortlessly interweaves music and visual arts.
As the frontwoman of Room Eleven, she conquered the hearts of audiences internationally, with gold and platinum records and performances from Johannesburg to Tokyo.
Since her solo debut in 2010, she has steadily continued to build an adventurous body of work, winning the Edison Jazz Award in 2023 for her work with DeVogels. She has collaborated with artists such as M. Ward and Benny Sings, and with the prestigious Metropole Orchestra. Her music came from legendary studios such as Konk Studios in London, studios in New York and Capitol Studios in Los Angeles.
On March 13, 2026, her new album “Work Out”, co-written with Laurens Radstake and recorded in Paris with Albin de la Simone and Raphaël Chassin (from Nouvelle Vague), will be released at Studio 237, another sparkling step in a career that continues to surprise and inspire.
