SPEELDRANG offers young creators from Overijssel the opportunity to present new work, perform a try-out show, or take the stage in front of an audience for the first time. Local talent gets the chance to showcase their skills and further develop their craft on our stage.
Zwarte Markt
The foundation for Zwarte Markt was laid in a bunker in Deventer. Amidst beer, noise, and a healthy dose of frustration, raw Dutch-language lyrics emerged about modern-day disappointments and the absolute mess that is life.
Mixing punk and metal, the band delivers raw riffs, heavy drums, and lyrics that grate, amuse, and are sometimes painfully relatable. The current lineup consists of one bassist, a.k.a. Wizard, one drummer, a.k.a. Megamister, and two guitarists, a.k.a. Prince of Persia and Caveman.
Zwarte Markt isn't here to stay neatly in the background. They’re here to make noise, give the audience whiplash, and send everyone home with a stiff neck and a smile.
Harley Francine
Harley Francine is an alternative rock band from the eastern Netherlands that has been steadily building its reputation since 2019 with a unique and recognizable sound. What started with a solid grunge foundation quickly evolved into a powerful mix of alternative rock, modern influences, and a healthy dose of character.
With honest, raw songs about restlessness, self-reflection, and finding your place in the world, Harley Francine knows how to get under your skin. No frills or fabricated stories, just music that grinds, touches, and sticks with you.
The band translates personal experiences into a sound that feels both familiar and innovative.

Suma Katra
Suma Katra drags you into the mosh pit and won't let you stand still. With a mix of garage, punk, and rock ’n roll, they deliver a sound that works just as well in clubs as it does on festival stages.
The band was formed in 2025 and consists of members from Bökkers, The Damned Few, and Ruby Electric.
Their debut single “She’s Been Calling Me Lately” has become the anthem for the world-famous Nathals Pils, and new material is already on the way.
