On Friday, October 10, singer/guitarist Sam Pols will be asked about songwriting, inspiration and more at the Burgerweeshuis's very first Meet & (Gr) dinner.

A Q&A with an artist, a tasty snack at the Burgerweeshuiscafé and then the Magnetic Spacemen album release show.

Sam Pols

Sam Pols is the singer, guitarist, lyricist and all-round musician with Magnetic Spacemen and Iguana Death Cult. Somewhere as a four-year-old boy, he crawled behind a drum kit and the music never stopped after that. He has been on stage since 2010 (12 years old).

With his bands, he played at Left Of The Dial, Zwarte Cross, Sniester and at various festivals abroad. Where it started out as straightforward and loud punk rock, Magnetic Spacemen's latest record is a lot more sensitive. The musical development of Sam and Magnetic Spacemen is audible in both the sound and the lyrics.
