SPEELDRANG gives young local creators the opportunity to present new work, perform a try-out show, or take the stage in front of an audience for the first time.

Because they all feel an incredible urge to get on stage and perform! We have now reached the fourteenth edition of SPEELDRANG, featuring SKINC, TIMBA, and the Shout-Out Crew, consisting of local heroes Manke, Jochie, and Ynte.

SKINC

This quartet combines rap with various electronic styles to create their own unique sound. Following the success of their debut album ‘Wezens van Gewoonte’, they have already made a name for themselves in the scene. Their music touches on the hectic nature of young adult life, with lyrics that resonate with many.

TIMBA

Deventer-based rapper TIMBA, influenced by artists like The Opposites and Eminem, brings a mix of lighthearted and deeper lyrics. With his 7-piece band, he delivers an energetic show full of positive vibes, spreading his unique message: ‘Leave the past in the past and make the most of now’.

SHOUT-OUT CREW

Jochie, Manke, and Ynte are local Deventer rappers who perform together under the Shout-Out Crew banner. Jochie creates narrative rap full of emotion, with the power to captivate the entire audience. Expect melodic rap from Ynte with a message of connection, focusing on feelings and experiences.

Manke is a source of inspiration who uses humor and energy to show that limitations are mostly in the mind. His music ranges from hip-hop to house and hardstyle.
