Booster festival wins IJzeren Podiumdier
In the category: “festival program of the year”, Booster festival has won an Iron Stage Animal.
According to the jury, Booster Festival acts as a springboard for up-and-coming musical pop talent. It offers workshops, feedback sessions and showcases, making it a unique opportunity for talented pop artists to develop.
The festival bridges the gap between education and practice and plays an indispensable role in talent development, both in the eastern Netherlands and beyond.
Booster festival is organized by Stichting Booster in close cooperation with main partner ArtEZ Conservatory Enschede and supporting partners Poppodium Metropool and development institution BRUT as the driver of the talent development agreement “from Basis to Booster”. This consists of Poppunt Overijssel, Poppunt Gelderland, De Nieuwe Oost, ArtEZ Conservatory, Civic Orphanage, Gigant, Luxor Live, De Basis Nijmegen, Sleeping Beauty, Hedon Production House, Hedon, New Electronic Goods, the New Notion, Metropolis and, of course, Booster.
