First names for the garden concerts confirmed!
Once again this year in June, the atmospheric courtyard of the Burgerweeshuis is the setting for a multi-faceted series of garden concerts where sparks fly. The special setting provides a special vibe time and time again. The first names of the 2026 season are online!
The Citizen Orphanage has now built up a good track record with special concerts and big names in the courtyard. For example, De Dijk, Danny Vera, Eliades Ochoa, Curtis Harding, Brant Bjork and MEAU have already featured.

The first names have now been confirmed for the 2026 season. On Friday, June 12 cometh Diggy Dex to Deventer with its narrative, accessible songs and hits such as Treur Niet, De Zon Op and La Vie Est Belle. After a period of rest, he is back with his eighth studio album Tempo Giusto. Ticket sales start on January 29 at 10 a.m.
The second confirmation brings Truckfighters, Dwarves, Yawning Man and SoftSun to the Citizen Orphanage. Friday, June 26 will be an evening where desert dust, fuzz pedals, punk chaos and psychedelic depth come together with Truckfighters in the all-scorching finale. Ticket sales for this concert start on Friday, January 30, 10 a.m.
