Anneke van Giersbergen
Dutch singer and songwriter Anneke van Giersbergen is known for her serene yet powerful voice, her musical versatility and her mesmerizing stage presence.
Her new album - La Vie, La Mort, L'Amour - appears as an extraordinary trilogy. The first part, La Vie, will be released digitally at the end of February. In 2026, the three EPs will be brought together into one full-length album, which will also be released physically.
After thirteen years as frontwoman of The Gathering, Anneke van Giersbergen started her solo career in 2007 — and her creativity proved limitless. She quickly built a successful name and worked with greats like Devin Townsend and Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon). She also voiced a range of artists, from Napalm Death to Árstíðir, Amorphis and prog legend John Wetton.
Under her own name, she makes beautiful acoustic folk with candid lyrics that still clearly express her rock roots.
After the show, you can (for free) dance for a few more hours at the alternative 80's and 90's party ALTOOOOH!
Support: Habitants
Habitants is a Dutch band founded by René Rutten (The Gathering), which creates a unique sound world with their dark, atmospheric mix of alternative and trio rock. Dreamy 80s influences blend with melancholic melodies and the ethereal voice of Anne van den Hoogen (Rosemary & Garlic), carried by enchanting reverb guitars. The result is a sound that is simultaneously vulnerable, powerful and memorable.
With their debut album One Self (2018), Habitants established themselves as a promising name in the alternative music scene, followed by national club tours and festival performances. Their second album Alma (2024), produced by Attie Bauw, was named Album of the Month by Rock Hard France and confirmed the band's international growth and recognition.
