Eloi Youssef
After sixteen years as Kensington frontman, Eloi Youssef chose a new path in 2022. As a solo artist, he seeks the core of his musical motive: pure, honest and honest.
With his single 'Unbind', he presented his first work under his own name. A song about how getting stuck can unexpectedly lead to liberation and growth. “Sometimes you have to get stuck first to discover how free you can be.” The melody appeared in a dream at night, as if it had always been there and only wanted to be brought to life.
In 2025, Eloi visited Dutch theaters with Kamerata Zuid and the Nederlands Kamerkoor. The tour was completely sold out. The next tour is already planned, this time all alone, with acoustic guitar.
“Most of the songs I've ever written started with one guitar, at home on the couch. I've always wanted to play that original form.”
What comes next is still open. No fixed plan, no final destination, just the space to follow what presents itself.
