Eloi Youssef
After sixteen years as the frontman of Kensington, Eloi Youssef chose a new path in 2022. As a solo artist, he seeks the core of his musical drive: pure, sincere, and honest.
With his single 'Unbind', he presented his first work under his own name. A song about how hitting a wall can unexpectedly lead to liberation and growth. "Sometimes you have to hit a wall first to discover how free you can be." The melody appeared in a dream at night, as if it had always been there and just wanted to be brought to life.
In 2025, Eloi toured Dutch theaters with Kamerata Zuid and the Nederlands Kamerkoor. The tour was completely sold out. The next tour is already being planned, this time entirely solo, with an acoustic guitar.
"Most of the songs I've ever written started with one guitar, at home on the couch. I've always wanted to perform them in that original form."
What comes next is still open. No fixed plan, no final destination, just the space to follow what unfolds.
