The Pop Quiz

Fancy a fun afternoon full of music, fun and memories? Take part in our Pop Quiz at the Burgerweeshuis. For two hours, we go back in time in teams of up to six people with live music and images from the 50s, 60s and 70s.

‍

Between rounds, we sing well-known classics together. You can participate in any way: sing, hum or clap: as long as there is fun.

‍

And yes, you can also earn points with that.

‍

What to expect?

‍

Round 1 — Musical Bingo

A happy start: the band plays familiar songs and you mark off artists or titles on the bingo card. Small bingos and a full card earn extra points. Meanwhile, the first photo rebus appears on the screen.

‍

Round 2 — Television & Iconic Images

Guess special moments in television history. Recognizable images pass by on the big screen, while the band plays the matching music. You guess the program or event. This is followed by a short sing-along round and we will announce the standings.

‍

Round 3 — Round Abroad

We travel around the world musically: from French chansons to German schlagers and American rock 'n' roll. On the map in the answer book, you can note which artist and title belong to which country. Extra points can be earned by coloring the flags. Photo Rebus 2 is in the picture.

Round 4 — Boomwhackers

A happy ending: each team gets Boomwhackers — colored tubes that make music. Using color codes on the screen, you play a familiar song together and guess the title. Photo Rebus 3 appears during this round.

Award ceremony

Between rounds, we check the answers together. The presenters share the right solutions and announce the final score. This is followed, of course, by the festive awards ceremony.

Teams

You can create your own team of up to 6 people. You can also buy 6 tickets at once in the ticket shop.
