Gruppo Sportivo
The success of The Spotify Tour (2022-2023) and the concert series Let’s Age On Stage (2024) left everyone wanting more, so Gruppo Sportivo is heading back out on tour again this year.
This time, the legendary band from The Hague is taking a different approach. "Back To Nature" is the motto, marking a return to the natural, warm sounds of semi-acoustic guitars, piano, and percussion.
Expect to hear hits like "Beep Beep Love," "Hey Girl," and "Disco Really Made It," along with other favorites from their 13-album repertoire. The band, as creative and inspired as ever, will also perform new songs from their upcoming EP, "Back To Nature Volume II," due in 2025.
The iconic frontman Hans Vandenburg handles vocals alongside the Bombita’s, Lies Schilp & Inge Bonthond, and plays all the guitar parts. For this tour, 13-year-old (!) prodigy Len de Quant takes the baton from his proud mentor, the late keyboardist Peter Calicher. Naturally, co-founder and drummer Max Mollinger and bassist Tim Barning will also be joining the stage.
