Carson McHone (USA)

Carson McHone creates idiosyncratic folk that can be as dreamy as it is sharp. On her recent album Pentimento she blends folk, indie rock, and poetic storytelling into layered songs. Written in the Texas desert and recorded on the Canadian coast, her music sounds personal, intense, and rich in detail. With it, McHone continues to build a reputation as one of the most intriguing voices in modern folk.

‍

JesperJesper (NL)
JesperJesper is the new project from Jesper Albers, known as the drummer for Paceshifter & Salland Sound Collective, among others. This time, he steps into the spotlight as a singer, guitarist, and songwriter. His music moves between alt-country and 90s indie rock, with influences from Kurt Vile and Neil Young. Following his debut EP Keep An Eye Out, he has now released his first album, which is available to listen to now.

‍

The Brothers Comatose (USA)
The Brothers Comatose are known for their energetic mix of bluegrass, folk, and rock 'n' roll. Blistering banjo, fiddle, and mandolin combine with vocal harmonies in a sound that bridges tradition and explosive energy. Since their start in San Francisco, the band has become a staple of the American roots scene. The album Golden Grass shows how effortlessly craftsmanship and pure fun come together.

‍

Truffle Valley Boys (IT)
The Truffle Valley Boys bring bluegrass in its purest form. Gathered around a single microphone with classic instruments, they play fast, energetic songs that reach straight back to the raw sound of the fifties. Since 2014, they have been building a strong live reputation across Europe. With their fiery playing style, tight ensemble work, and flair for showmanship, they pay tribute to the roots of the genre.

‍

‍

The Dad Horse Experience (DE)

‍The Dad Horse Experience is the project of German singer-songwriter Dad Horse Ottn, possessing a voice that sounds like it came straight from the American Appalachians. With his self-proclaimed Keller-Gospel, he creates a quirky mix of folk and roots with a remarkably rich and layered sound. His music balances between dark and playful, with lyrics full of self-deprecation, spirituality, and raw honesty. A compelling and characterful live experience.

‍

Salland Sound Collective (NL)

‍Salland Sound Collective is a close-knit group of musician friends from Overijssel, known for their work in bands like Money & The Man, Paceshifter, and JesperJesper. What unites them is a shared love for rock, country, and roots music. Rather than a fixed band, they operate as a dynamic collaboration where energy and inspiration collide. Rooted in a strong regional scene, they bring a tight and vibrant sound to the stage.

‍‍

Leadbeaters (NL)

Leadbeaters is an Amsterdam-based string band that is arguably too rock 'n' roll for a folky outfit. With an energetic mix of Americana, old-time, bluegrass, rhythm & blues, cajun, and cumbia, they deliver a raw, danceable show full of bravado, vocal harmonies, and pure joy. The band is increasingly evolving into a true family-folk ensemble, where family ties and music seamlessly intertwine. Their debut album Juice In The Crank will be released on June 19th.

Blue Grass Boogiemen & Pieternel (NL)
The Blue Grass Boogiemen have been playing traditional bluegrass with unparalleled energy since 1990. This Dutch band has become a festival favorite across Europe and the US, and they also performed at Into The Mud 2022. With tight harmonies, lightning-fast strings, and a huge dose of enthusiasm, they deliver pure, classic bluegrass that is as authentic as it is infectious. This time, they are joined by Pieternel on vocals.

‍

Postmodern Clarity (NL)

Postmodern Clarity offers a fresh take on bluegrass. The four musicians met at the conservatory and share a love for virtuosic interplay, strong melodies, and multi-part vocal harmonies. With influences from jazz and folk, they give the genre a modern twist. Expect fast solos, spontaneous improvisations, and a band that clearly loves being on stage.

DAVO will also be on hand to fire up the pizza oven. Grab your slice between 5:30 PM and 8:00 PM.

For whom? Campers and anyone who wants to join in the fun.
