Sophie Straat

In her music, the message always comes first. Through cleverly crafted songs, she sings about social issues and tackles themes like racism, abuse of power, sexism, and inequality. In a short time, Sophie Straat has become the undisputed queen of a new generation of protest singers.

‍

Her new album, 'Wie de fak is Sophie Straat', will be released on October 3rd and will be presented live during this tour. On the album, she writes about how the Netherlands is packed with rules, and how we all already know who the winners and losers are. A new album, a new sound, together against the same mess.

‍

In her new single 'Let Me Tell You Something 'Bout My Country', which comes out on Friday, August 28th, she leaves no doubt about what she stands for.

support: Fritzi

‍

Fritzi moves effortlessly between genres, but her heart beats strongest for melancholic, electronic pop. With self-produced basslines, sharp beats, and a voice that weaves harmony and emotion together, she draws her audience into the intimate world of a young woman.

‍

Together with Groove God Jaïr Darnoud (Producer, Rens, Jaïr en Ome Uncle) and Kiki Margari (Bassist, Cest Qui), Fritzi delivers a live show that feels deep and raw, yet remains irresistibly danceable. A performance that makes it impossible to stand still.
