The Pop Quiz

Fancy a fun afternoon full of music, joy, and memories? Join our Pop Quiz at the Burgerweeshuis. For two hours, in teams of up to six people, we'll travel back in time with live music and visuals from the '50s, '60s, and '70s.

‍

Between rounds, we'll sing well-known classics together. You can participate in any way: singing, humming, or clapping – as long as you're having fun.

‍

And yes, there are points to be earned too.

‍

What can you expect?

‍

Round 1 – Musical Bingo

A cheerful start: the band plays well-known songs, and you cross off artists or titles on your bingo card. Small bingos and a full card earn extra points. Meanwhile, the first photo rebus appears on screen.

‍

Round 2 – Television & Iconic Images

Guess memorable moments from television history. Recognizable images appear on the big screen while the band plays the accompanying music. You guess the show or event. This is followed by a short sing-along round, and we announce the interim scores.

‍

Round 3 – International Tour

We take a musical journey around the world: from French chansons to German schlagers and American rock 'n' roll. On the map in your answer booklet, you note which artist and title belong to which country. Extra points can be earned by coloring in the flags. Photo rebus 2 is displayed.

Round 4 – Boomwhackers

A cheerful finale: each team receives Boomwhackers – colored tubes that make music. Using color codes on the screen, you play a well-known song together and guess the title. Photo rebus 3 appears during this round.

Award Ceremony

Between rounds, we'll check the answers together. The hosts will share the correct solutions and announce the final scores. Afterwards, of course, comes the festive award ceremony.
