JOHAN
JOHAN is back. After a hiatus, during which a lot—and yet nothing at all—happened, the indie power pop band returns.
In their wake is their new album 'The Great Vacation', released in early 2024.
'The Great Vacation' is JOHAN's most adventurous album to date. Thirteen brand-new songs that nestle effortlessly alongside classics like 'Pergola', 'Tumble and Fall', 'Oceans', and 'About Time'.
The band surrounding singer/guitarist Jacob de Greeuw knows how to turn grand suffering into the most beautiful songs time and again. The frontman of Johan deals in timeless pop music and, after five albums, belongs to the canon of Dutch rock.
support: FIEP
FIEP is the project surrounding musician and songwriter Veerle Suzanna Driessen. She writes sharp indie rock songs that dig deeper than just a catchy hook and pointed melody. Veerle also reveals everything beneath the surface of the proverbial iceberg: the restlessness, the doubts, the reflections, and the dreams. A surprising twist and a playful observation are always lurking.
