Truckfighters//Dwarves//Yawning Man
Once again this year in June, the atmospheric courtyard of the Civic Orphanage is the setting for a multi-faceted series of garden concerts where sparks fly. The special setting provides a special vibe time and time again.
An evening where desert dust, fuzz pedals, punk chaos and psychedelic depth come together with Truckfighters in the all-scorching finale.
Truckfighters
Inspired by greats like Kyuss and Fu Manchu, Sweden's Truckfighters grew into one of the leading stoner rock bands in the world. With their legendary wall of fuzz, grooving monster riffs and psychedelic energy, they effortlessly blow every venue away.
Since 2001, Oskar “Ozo” Cedermalm and Niklas “Dango” Källgren have been relentlessly building their own desert rock empire, with countless shows and five strong albums to their name. They will return in 2026, after 10 years! , back with the brand new album Masterflow. Harder, heavier and more fiery than ever. Expect a live show that you don't just hear, but you'll physically experience.
Yawning Man
One of the absolute founders of the legendary Palm Desert scene. As early as the 1980s, they organized generator parties deep in the California desert, which would later inspire bands like Kyuss, Queens of the Stone Age and Fu Manchu.
Their instrumental desert rock is thrilling and cinematic: threatening drums, abrasive guitars and a sultry atmosphere that hypnotizes and gets under your skin at the same time. Influences from psychrock, spaghetti westerns, krautrock, surf and jazz make their sound unique and timeless.
Dwarves
Notorious, uncompromising and the ugly but irresistible stepchild of rock 'n' roll for decades. Dwarves is known for their short, furious songs and completely chaotic live shows. With their legendary reputation, groundbreaking albums and shit-to-everything attitude, they remain a must-have for fans of pure, dangerous punk rock.
SoftSun
Founded in 2023 by Gary Arce (Yawning Man), Pia Isaksen (PIA ISA), and Dan Joeright (Earth Moon Earth). SoftSun moves between heavy and fragile, between beauty and noise. Their music is slow, dreamy and intense, with spooky vocals, layered guitars full of reverb and distortion, and carefully constructed arcs of tension.
On their second album, the band further deepens this atmosphere: darker, more experimental and more emotional — a perfect, hypnotic counterpart to the brutal violence of the rest of the line-up.
