Once again this June, the atmospheric courtyard of Poppodium Burgerweeshuis will serve as the backdrop for a versatile series of garden concerts that are sure to spark excitement.

There is a chance of rain during the DeWolff concert. Please check the weather forecast before heading to the show. If rain is predicted, bring a poncho just in case. Umbrellas are not permitted.

DeWolff

‍

The men of DeWolff are the premier sixties garage-rock virtuosos of today. Robin Piso and brothers Luka and Pablo van de Poel are among the most driven, energetic, and virtuosic musicians you will ever encounter, further hardened by years of touring.

‍

They have played over 1,000 shows both inside and outside Europe, spreading their explosive mix of blues-rock with a touch of soul and psychedelia.

‍

In May 2024, DeWolff traveled to the famous studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, to record their 10th studio album with Grammy Award-winning producer Ben Tanner.

‍

The album 'Muscle Shoals' showcases influences from the rich musical history written 50 years ago in those very same studios by artists like Wilson Pickett, Aretha Franklin, Little Richard, the Stones, Leon Russell, and the Black Keys, yet DeWolff will always sound like DeWolff.

‍

A fiery, idiosyncratic steam engine that races through its own time zone, leaving you spellbound and speechless at the crossroads of blues, soul, psychedelia, and southern rock, with a Dutch twist.

Mojo & The Kitchen Brothers

‍

Mojo & The Kitchen Brothers are a colorful Belgian group that evokes the spirit of the early 70s. Their psychedelia-drenched mix of heavy prog-rock draws comparisons to bands like Black Sabbath, Wishbone Ash, and Pink Floyd.

‍

This young powerhouse delivers catchy tunes, proggy riffs, thunderous drums, roaring basslines, and punchy, triple-guitar jams that bounce the audience back and forth between the present and the past.
