With razor-sharp lyrics about political corruption and social inequality and an irresistible mix of funk, jazz and highlife, he creates an explosive, danceable sound that touches and wakes up.

After starting in Fela's Egypt '80s, he founded his own band Positive Force in 1986, enriching Afrobeat with influences from R&B, rock, and hip-hop. His mission is clear: music as an engine for change — on stage and off.
